Generated weekly/monthly sales reports. Primary key holder responsible for opening/closing store. Greeted all customers entering store and offered assistance. Built long-term customer relationships as an efficient service provider with high levels of accuracy & quality. Communicated with vendors on back orders, special orders, and new products. Sold/Installed broad range of customized products to individuals and businesses. Scheduled product pickups/deliveries with vendors. Attended and/or participated in trade shows to develop new relationships and potentially expand product line. Promptly responded to communication from clients, staff, and vendors via mail, e-mail, telephone, and/or fax. Handled P+L duties and all accounts payable/receivable including cash, check, money order, and/or credit card purchases ranging from $5.00 to $50,000. Personally designed, built, and placed 17 large wood display cases to show off various products in our showroom. Created the specific detailed floor plan for the construction of our showroom and warehouse. Developed long term exclusive relations with 25+ local businesses, contractors, and housing communities to ensure sustained growth and success of our name. Measured, quoted, sold, and installed custom window treatments. Recruited, hired, and trained over 40 staff members. Managed teams of 2-20 associates for various sizes & types of projects.
