Daily Duties at Current, Usa:
• Performed catalog page layout utilizing both InDesign and QuarkXpress with the Comosoft Lago content management system that allowed for overlapping production schedules. • Conceptualized and executed effective ways to position products for higher profitability, including designing covers for catalogs, and photo art-directing product photography in house. • Executed aggressive daily photo shoot schedules with detailed styling notes – resulting in minimal questions and reshoots. • Maintained collaborative working relationships with buyers within merchandising department. Efforts continued to improve productivity through additional and accurate visual translation of objectives. • Efficiently managed catalog deadlines, working closely with Creative Director, Copywriters, Designers and the Print Production Manager. • Workplace efficiency improved with additional Comosoft Lago content management system training that allowed me to increase page layout production, which increased both my flexibility to handle additional responsibilities such as photo art directing product shoots. • Directed and motivated creative activities performed by 2 freelance employees hired to work on projects with overlapping deadlines.
