Daily Duties at Aetna:

Responsible for the successful completion of more than 300 production jobs each month. Resolve any space related problems and assist with identifying any other type of problems. Advise co-workers on the use of overrides via JCL. Documented in great detail the procedures used to migrate all code utilizing ENDEVOR and process to create and use overrides in production code. Conducted training of process for co-worker, so that backup coverage is available. Responsible for all scheduling changes via ZEKE that are necessary for production cycle programming updates. Oversee company change from Infoplex to Remedy and how it impacts our department, along with training co-workers. Verify successful completion of production cycles via WSF2 facility. Maintain documentation of any ABENDS, as well as any actions taken to resolve issues. Manipulate data and make changes to SAS programs to accommodate user request for disruption of service reporting, which impact potential clients decisions. Communicate to users any selection criteria that was not clear, to ensure that reports were generated in a timely and accurate manner.
