Daily Duties at Electronic Data Systems:
Design and develop DB2 databases that interfaced with the IMS code in our banking system. Build tablespaces, tables and indexes. Help load test data into the DB2 tables, trying to mimic the spread of data that would be in the Production version of the system. Run RUNSTATS, then run BIND on all the Plans. Help the application coders run a DB2 BIND whenever they compile a COBOL program. Support multiple development environments at the same time.
