Daily Duties at Ingles Markets:
Dispensing of prescriptions accurately in a timely fashion, Maintaining accurate patient records, dosing information and directions of use. Compounding of prescriptions Provision of flu shots and promoting immunization for patients Maintain a good inventory management Maintain good rapport with physicians and nurse practitioners.. Interact with insurance providers concerning billing and reimbursement issues. Manage pharmacy technicians to providing excellent patient care Ensure continual compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations. Adaptive to work with different teams so the pharmacy is always functioning at peak performance. Supervise the filling of prescriptions by pharmacy technicians. Communicate policy and procedure changes, system enhancements and clinical updates to all pharmacy staff
