Daily Duties at Mtr Professional Services:
I doubled the size of the business by actively marketing our existence and our superiority to all of our competitors. I recruited additional staff to handle the additional work from the newly acquired providers.I negotiated 25% higher reimbursements for our specialist providers with the medical insurance companies. I attended all industry events and became a member of the billing and coding national organizations to bolster our credibility and to keep up with the latest changes in medical billing and coding. I researched and then purchased new hardware and software for the business to streamline and make more efficient the day-to-day work activities. I automated the submission of claims to all our insurance companies and eliminated the need for paper records.
