Daily Duties at Ge Wind Energy:
Analyze drawings, specifications, pricing, and reporting to support metrics. Develop contracts and blanket orders to obtain optimum pricing. Meet with suppliers weekly to discuss backlog and quality issues. Develop and publish updates to supplier quality management team on supplier's performance. Work with suppliers and internal teams to develop cost and cycle time reduction ideas. Lead teams of manufacturing, material, design and quality engineering to resolve issues in the supply chain for qualifications and delivery of hardware. Developed and managed monthly ISO workstation audits for Sourcing Buyer Team.
