Daily Duties at Strongsville City Schools:

Designed and directed comprehensive intervention services with a staff of 120 diverse specialists. These included psychologists, counselors, speech therapists, orthopedic therapists, physical therapists, special educators, English language tutors and interpreters. Supervised, designed and developed Pre-K-12 special education programming including all professional development for staff. Served as district officer for civil rights compliance and for suspension appeals. Directed all activities related to pupil registration for the district as well as state mandated reporting. Prepared and directed general operating budget of $1.1million for registration, records and outside tuition. Initiated parent/community support through active leadership and involvement with special education advisory council, parent mentor programs and social emotional learning for the future group. Built and directed all district federal and state grants totaling about $1.8 million /yr.
