Daily Duties at Premier Urgent Care, Pc.:
I do provider recruiting on an as-needed basis. I create policy and procedure manuals and update them to keep current with "best clinical practice" and conduct on-site visits of each facility on a regular basis to ensure consistency among all the centers. I participate in quarterly QA and UM activities and check to make sure all the providers are current with their necessary certifications. I prepare the projected budgets with the CFO and review the actual annual expenditures and identify where costs can be cut and where the company needs to be spending more dollars. I attend Board meetings and talk with prospective investors including venture capitalists to procure infusions of capital into our growing business. I plan and carry out community events and support local charities to promote the utilization of the centers but in addition, to meet the needs of the surrounding population.
