Daily Duties at Color Span:
Implementation of Pr-Production Products into a production capacity. This task required the in depth analysis of how a 1000 plus part machine could go together, accurately, efficiently, and repeatably. The assignment required working with both engineers and assembly personnel, and getting the two parties to see eye to eye for a finished product. Function as Manufacturing Engineer for four product lines. Duties included: material analysis from vendors, maintenance of Bills of Material, Engineering Change Orders, Engineering Change Notices, out source of sub-assembly builds, Returned Material Analysis, production floor layouts, and creation/ maintenance of production build procedures. Trained ColorSpan technicians on building, using, and troubleshooting current products. This training affected most production personnel of over 100 people. Performed repairs and installations of equipment at key overseas sites for customers and Vendor Approved Distributors. This gave our partners added confidence in the corporation and our abilities.
