Daily Duties at Merrill Corporation:
Continuous Digital Print consultant and Project Manager for technology implementation. Oversight of installation on two continuous lines that were evaluated and tested within Merrill facility in head to head vendor demo. Both lines were continuous duplex with roll to roll and roll to cutsheet capabilities. One line consisted of an OCE 8750 continuous digital printer with Hunkeler 6 pre/post print equipment. The second line consisted of a Xerox 1300 continuous digital printer and LaserMax/Roll Systems pre/post print. Both vendors were asked to develop front end controller server/software that would meet Merrill's very demanding yet critical print work flow needs. Staff hiring, training, imposition implementation, procedures, floor layout, technical oversight, consultation, file and internal print evaluation, project updates, goal metrics, throughput loading, equipment production metrics, quality assurance, data entry and creation, capabilities, and all other continuous print or project criteria were provided directly by me.
