Daily Duties at Arlington Isd:

At the present I am responsible for required state screening of students for vision, hearing, scoliosis & diabetes yearly. I also monitor and enforce state required immunizations while conuseling with parents about Clinics that provide required immunizations at a reduced cost, if needed. I also counsel with students and parents with reference to results of screening & recommendations for further medical care, if needed. The teachers of the students are also given results of screening with parent permission for class accomodations, if needed. I also maintain an open door policy for student nursing assessment for illnesses and minor first aid treaments with referral for further medical care to parent, if needed.
