Promoted productivity for over 400 end users across six locations and two collocations throughout Southern California, Las Vegas (CoLo), and Virginia (CoLo). Served on planning and policy-making committees, and chaired cross functional departmental meetings to review strategic goals and initiatives, promote team building and implement standards throughout organization. Recruited, hired, trained, mentored and evaluated IT support staff. Instituted standards to ensure integrity and continual operation of network including wireless networks. Evaluated new technologies for competitive advantage; and oversaw development, design, and implementation of new applications, including SharePoint 2010, Microsoft Exchange 5.0-2003-2007 migrations, and changes to existing infrastructures. Served as primary decision maker for all technology related acquisitions (e.g. hardware, software, data center, collocations, telecommunications and overall network infrastructure). Designed RFPs and reviewed vendor proposals to assure adherence to specifications. Developed, reviewed, and certified all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans. Presenting the firms strategic plans to the entire partner group and c-level executives. Implemented the firms first ever venture into the public Cloud Computing Environment in 2000, then created a private cloud environment in 2007 for several mission critical applications.
