Daily Duties at Amerigroup Corp:
•Maintain a library of computer generated files that may be on tape, disk or mass storage. •Classify and catalog files by content of data and type of routing. •Assign identification codes conforming to a standardized system. •Prepare records for files reference. •Issue media on a charge-out system and inspect returned media to determine need of replacement. •Ensure data recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations, and perform recoveries. •Support media management through procedures for offsite storage and retrieval. •Collect growth statistics for the tape library to ensure backup capacity is maintained. •Develop and maintain magnetic media documentation and update documentation related to Data Center Recovery Plan as appropriate. •Responsibility $10k - $40k budgetary expense. •Develop and maintain computer operation documentations. •Work with PC support team on helpdesk calls. •Administer system and file server backups. •Execute scheduled production reports/jobs. •Manage flow of IS internal/external media.
