Daily Duties at Apogee Consulting Group:

Started a companay though relaionship in the healthcare indusry and the idenification of a market with one client. Then grew over Apogee to 3,000,000 and over 28 hospitals and 26 employees. Daily tasks consist of, extensive knowledge of medical teminology, UB04 billing requirements, third party follow-up and payor, regulations and regurements. Managed medical records coding, (CPT,ASC,APG,ICD-9), ATB and AR. Years of Management experience, leading teams, team building and problem solving. Work alone much of the time and with others to obtain establised goals both intenally and externally. Familar with Meditech, Epic, Star and SMS. Hired staff, trained, mentored and conducting preformance reviews. Worked with revenue cycle. Assited in contract negotiations with large payor organizations. Understand contract language, insured deadlines were meet. (contract rate updates and terminated dates) Excellent communication skills with both payor and co-workers.
