Daily Duties at Humana:

I responded to major complaints that reached critical levels (Board of Directors, Company Executives, local media, political representatives.) I managed the central states and the Medicare Supplement products. All complaints were logged in and responded to within 5 business days. Those requiring indepth research were flagged first and complaintant was notified of need for additional time for resolution. Rotated with two other investigators to respond to incoming phone complaints. Prepared written documentation for presentation to the complaintant and copies to individuals who received the original complaint. Made recommendations to the claims senior staff advisors of potential legal issues that could be avoided by making changes in the processing units. Charged with a $10,000 limit to overturn incorrect claims. Filled in for investigator absences.
