Daily Duties at Los Angeles County Probation Department:

Assisted the Deputy Director of Field Service overseeing the operations of nineteen Field offices throughout the County of Los Angeles. • Researched and prepared reports for all levels of management within the Department. • Analyzed highly complex problems related to the operations, business practices and implementation of new behavioral correction methods and programs. • Suggest areas of improvement in internal processes with plausible solutions to identified areas. • Coordinated the implementation of document delivery enterprise systems with the Superior Courts, District Attorney’s and Public Defender’s office. • Made presentations to management on project updates and expected results. Ensures projects are completed on time and in scope. • Recommend processes; corrective and preventive actions, and evaluate effectiveness of process improvements. • Worked with vendors and other agencies to define project scope and performance expectations of automated systems. • Liaison between business and Information Systems Office in developing new IT solutions and enhancements to existing systems as well as implementation of new systems • Assisted in the development of business processes and identifies best practices to ensure the most effective and efficient processes and operations. • Worked with the Information Systems Office in customization of the enterprise system and helped coordinate new business practices. • Played a role in successfully defining, designing, testing, accepting and implementing technology-based solutions/applications. • Oversaw the implementation, training of employees, and audits of Medi-Cal Administrative Activities and Targeted Case Management programs. • Trained approximately 1000 employees on the use of new electronic report delivery system. • Researched and implemented new innovative behavioral assessment tools for the Adult Field Services Bureau. • Coordinated and trained approximately 200 employees on the use and theory behind new cognitive behavioral methods of correction. • Coordinated the implementation of digital dictation system within the department.
