Daily Duties at Highbridge Advisory Council Family Services, New York:
Supervising and mentoring direct reports, ensuring the accuracy of journal entries and reconciliation, and month end close activities. Review of income statement and balance sheet accounts. Review of cash reporting reconciliation. Review of quarterly fixed asset reports. Responsible for compiling, preparing and presenting monthly/quarterly reports to executive management. Work with members of various departments and supervise staff effectively while meeting task and project deadlines. Review schedules that support various general ledger accounts in conjunction with month-end quarter end timetables. Review monthly cash reporting including investment accounting, cash flow reports. Compile explanations and justifications of accruals and adequacy of supporting documentation. Review changes in net assets and evaluate reasonableness. Responsible for ensuring that effective internal controls exist and are adhered to in functional areas.Including accounting policies and procedures, narrative and flowcharts. Audit management.
