Manage day to day 18 person operational support team, 2 million dollar budget and a 24/7 multiplatform infrastructure. Communicate and collaborate across functional areas and leadership levels in addressing business needs and developing solutions. Proven track record of teambuilding and delivering streamlined workflow. Key Projects: - Established new audit controls and balancing in support of the Statement on Auditing Standards(SAS 70), National Association of Insurance Commissionaires Module Audit Rule (NAIC Mar) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits. - Directed a series of system enhancement projects that increased claim throughput 9% and achieved corresponding $9M in cost savings. - Optimized software development methodology. - Directed HIPAA 5010 implementation for electronic claims submission. - Managed migration of enterprise level front end applications to updated architecture utilizing JAVA, J2EE, Unix, DB2, WTX and MQ Series. Increased claims pass rate from 66% to 98%.
