Daily Duties at Physiotherapy Associates:
Manages a team of File Maintenance Administrators responsible for building and maintaining the Master Files, Libraries, and Code Tables within the NextGen Practice Management database. Ten (10) direct reports processing 36,000+ master file requests annually. Analyzes system claim edits as well as clearinghouse and payer rejections utilizing a drill path, root cause approach to identify issues and develop systematic fixes to mitigate future barriers to the revenue cycle and enhance cash flow. Works collaboratively with Payor Contracting to develop and maintain 1000+ managed care contracts of varying reimbursement types (e.g., fee for service, capitation, per visit, per modality, case rate, etc.. Evaluates, justifies and directs system and non-system enhancements to promote efficient front-end procedures for clinic based staff and overall revenue cycle operations. Partners with a team of twenty (24) Revenue Cycle Managers to seamlessly implement new clinic system set-ups, new clinic based procedures, AR related issues, specialized payor requirements as well as maintaining all fee schedules and contract pricing.
