Performed initial reviews to determine medical necessity for a variety of levels of behavioral health care with acute and sub-acute providers. Used nationally recognized medical necessity criteria to determine the appropriate level of care for patients requesting treatment for mental health and substance abuse. Also provided overnight consults to Employee Assistance Program clients.
