Daily Duties at Axcelis Technologies:
Accountable for testing, troubleshooting and repairing ion implanters, RTP machines, and plasma-based curing & cleaning systems to ensure they meet required specifications before they are shipped to the customer. Performing product development to improve machine operation and design effective methods of testing machine assemblies, as well as writing technical documentation for test procedures and using Excel spreadsheets for data analysis. Responsible for traveling to the fabrication plants of various semiconductor companies around the world to install and configure ion implanters, rapid thermal process machines, and curing & cleaning systems.
