Daily Duties at United Space Alliance:
Provided leadership in collaboration with NASA for 300 employees performing critical operations for Space Shuttle and International Space Station system functions across multi-disciplines (mechanical, electrical, propulsion, environmental, booster, and thermal). Held responsibility for multi-million dollar annual operating budget. Provided senior executive interface to two major NASA organizations. Coordinated all resource management, requiring extensive knowledge of company policies and government regulations, balancing employee morale with maintaining customer performance objectives. Executed fair and equitable salary plan. Developed strategic and tactical goals for department. Supported strategy sessions to address future of company during time of instability with NASA vision.
