Daily Duties at Emory University/Winship Cancer Center :

Particapated on Morning rounds on the oncology bone marrow transplant Floor.Working for the head of the BMT unit at the time choosing Patients who may be a candiate for a BMT protocolor a patient suited for an off protocal inhouse study for simple research purposes. I would evaluate the patients check to see if they meet protocal qualifications aswell as educating the patients and families to the advantages to be on a study drug.Following patients while they were on the study drug aswell as after completion of BMT and after treatment has been completed.Overall kmowledge of cleint base were they were and how they were tolerating it Keeping the physcians informed at all times of a new patient or any complications that may be occuring an adverse event and reporting to the IRB.
