Daily Duties at Tompkins Cortland Community College:
Classroom responsibilities ranging from "team teaching" approach to learning. Classes taught in Medical-Surgical Nursing as well as some Anatomy and Physiology. Assisted with nursing "lab" instruction covering basic clinical skills as well as more advanced procedures. Clinical responsibilities included instruction of students in a first clinical experience such as medication administration, bathing, basic communication skills and documentation. General responsibilities within the team approach included compilation of test questions, grading and office hours spent with students.
