Daily Duties at The National Groups:

 Review high risk mortgage accounts for loss mitigation opportunities  Document loss mitigation requests and make recommendations in accordance with bank’s requirements for modifications; short sale transactions; deed-in-lieu of foreclosure and other loss mitigation options.  Communicate with borrowers, attorneys and brokers regarding loss mitigation options  Perform short sale functions in accordance with investor guidelines  Negotiate workout terms with borrowers  Audit financial and credit documentation to ensure for completion and ensure receipt within guided timeline  Process assigned workouts from set up through final disposition  Conduct mortgage reviews for borrowers and assess for short sale  Process requests in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Act  Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients  Manage information in database systems such as HAFA and CO-OPs (Short Sale programs) and HAMP (modification program)  Underwrite HAFA docs for bank approval  Educate borrowers and real estate professionals on processes  Assist team lead with team management and additional duties as assigned
