Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all accounting, tax, financial reports, and monthly variance analysis for Nogales, Mexico manufacturing facility. Supervise day to day accounting staff of 21, and all financial operations. Oversee timely financial close process for US materials, Mexico maquilla corporation and other Mexican subsidiaries. Research and apply accounting standards to complex transactions. Develop technical skills of accounting staff. Create financial control environment, implement business policies, and design internal controls. Manage reporting requirements and presentations to corporate finance and executive management. Prepare annual budget and establish standard costs by product. Coordinate planning and execution of periodic internal audits. Support management with financial and operational information. Participate as finance representative in multiple product cross-functional teams. Prepare cost and contribution analysis for major business opportunities and proposals for cross functional team consideration. Drive continuous improvement across financial operations. Communicate technical accounting requirements and implications to both technical and non-technical audiences. Utilize hands on approach supported by a mastery of the details and proficiency using financial systems and data analysis tools, while exhibiting a strong sense of urgency with a results oriented focus.
