Oversaw productive and efficient freight loading and unloading by supervisors and dock workers on 12-hour shifts. Supervised over 150 employees, scheduled manpower, determined salaries, and resolved conflicts. Trained and directed staff to achieve load factor improvements. Coordinated activities to achieve optimum utilization of staff, facilities, and equipment. Ensured consistent compliance with safety rules and government regulations. Led investigations into customer complaints and created action plans to eliminate root causes.
