Daily Duties at Cvs Pharmacy:
Disperse prescriptions to patients following CVS standard procedures for prescription dispersal. Pack scanned medications into bags ensuring that container label and prescription label match and stowing them on waiting bins. Take telephone orders for medication refills, delisting from ready-fill enrollment and other matters related to patients’ data base info. Attend to customers dropping off prescriptions securing all the necessary information to process the prescription and making sure that the prescriptions are processed before they leave the pharmacy. Ensure that all packaging materials such as caps, vials and bottles are replenished in the packing bin for the day’s shift. Call clients with prescriptions not picked up after 14 days and to remind them of its availability for pick up. Perform tasks to prepare prescription labels and medication for counting and packing prior to Pharmacist’s final verification. Conduct store generated and systems generated cycle counts. Receive stock delivery from outside vendors and from CVS Warehouse. Ensure that the workplace is clean and orderly.
