Daily Duties at Macy's Logistics & Operations/Macy's North:
Selected as member of leadership team for start-up, state-of-the-art, direct-to-customer (D2C) distribution center in the fulfillment of macys.com, bloomingdales.com, Bloomingdale’s, national online wedding gift registries, and telephone orders. Directed replenishment, restock, and pick operations in the 600,000 square-foot center, supporting $1 billion in D2C sales and shipment of more than 5.6 million orders in 2007, from 355,000 SKUs. Managed 40 full-time and up to 130 seasonal direct reports; directing seasonally fluctuating staff of 275 to 500 indirect associates. Reported to Director of Outbound Operations.
