Daily Duties at City Government:
Collaborated with City Council members on Parks & Recreation business; interacted with public/media to advance Department initiatives and encourage involvement in sponsored recreational programs and the use of Department resources. Directed all facets of 62 recreation centers and 31 indoor/outdoor/children’s pools; provided oversight of Athletic Programs/Educational Services/Facilities Management/Capital & Planning/Food & Nutrition Services divisions. Developed and supervised activities of Athletic Field Maintenance division and established/managed a Partnerships & Development division. Directed Summer Camping program and all functions of Senior Services division. Allocated and served as fiduciary agent for $56M local budget and $236M capital projects budget.
