Daily Duties at Nova Corporation:
• Direct all aspects of Avaya S8700 telecommunications switch and 3 EPN cabinets operations located in remote locations throughout the Washington DC, Maryland and Pennsylvania • Provided maintenance and administration for all telecommunication switches, telephones, 30 trunk groups and associated peripherals for 4000 users •Conduct telephone management system updates to sustain and increase operation's efficiency •Responsible for adds, moves and changes for over 4000 user in a facility that supports multiple government agencies Assist in the administration and maintenance of Raytheon secure switch systems • Programed and maintained 3 Land Mobile Radio base stations, and 154 handheld radios for emergency services located at the facility • Managed and coordinated the Avaya G-3R to Avaya 8710 upgrade project with little or no service outage to the customer • Monitored/tracked call usage through utilization of the Telephone Management Systems for over 4000 phones Installed and maintained 13 Avaya G700 to increase telephone capabilities to outer building located on site Ensured Preventive Maintenance checks were performed daily and completed in the allotted time and any deficiencies were corrected with little or no downtime to the customer Selected as leader on establishing standards on the way the ISDN VTCs are Programed and installed Performed
