The Evart plant was one of eight automotive glass fabrication facilities previously owned by PPG Industries, Inc. Staffing consisted of six direct reports with a total employment of 130 people. A plant budget of $25-$30 million was developed each year with an annual productivity improvement of $1-$1.5 million. An annual business plan was created to drive continuous improvement in the areas of environment, health & safety, quality and cost control. Ongoing certifications to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO14001 were maintained to meet OEM customer requirements.
