Daily Duties at Kelly It Resources (A Division Of Kelly Services, Inc.):

Solved client staffing challenges through creative solutions. Responsible for financial impact of decision-making and outcomes including sales, business planning and industry benchmarking. Including recruiter fills, pay and bill rates and expenditures for two technical, engineering, and professional staffing offices. Set goals for both offices and wrote action plans to reach those goals. Utilized corporate resources to facilitate goal accomplishment: o Operations Development/Management o Strategic Positioning o Business Development o Leadership Coordinated with recruiters setting pay rates for staff. Responsible for keeping up-to-date on my understanding of employment law, protecting Kelly’s interests and advising clients. Prepared PowerPoint reports to formally present quarterly progress to peers and the Vice President of Information Technology (my boss) at quarterly corporate meetings and conferences. Submitted timely and accurate reporting on a schedule required by management. Supervised two locations in Portland and Eugene, and four cost centers with five employees (3 recruiters, 1 sales person, 1 operations management). Recruited, hired, and trained staff. Conversed with staff regarding performance, goals, and personal action plans. Provided guidance as needed and if performance issues arose, implemented a corrective action plan to mentor the employee to success. Discharged staff not able to meet these goals.
