Conducted clinical review and analyzed submitted claims for services rendered to health plan members by providers of medical, surgical and ancillary services. Reviewed service eligibility, coding practices, adjudication of individual claims and determined payment. Identified fraudulent charges and initiated investigations. Attended inbound claim calls and updated client on status. Provided organizational, archive and clerical support for operations department with primary responsibility for the design and execution of customer filing system in line with corporate protocol and privacy standards. Established, retrieved, maintained and managed active and inactive files. Identified and reported missing archives or support documents. Maintained office area well organized and updated; monitored office inventory and issued purchase order requests.
