Daily Duties at City Of Tacoma:
Managed migration from Windows NT network to a Windows 2000 network with Active Directory. Manage upgrades, installs, and operating system troubleshooting. Manage Exchange Server 5.5 and Exchange 2000 (completed upgrade from 5.5 to Exchange 2000 Install, monitor, and maintain peripherals. Monitor and manage HP Openview, Implement and maintain firewall. Performed BIOS flash, router/switch flash. Implement and manage network security. Participate technology evolution, including testing Windows 2000 Professional Server and Data Center for future implementation. Utilize various operating systems: Windows NT Server, NT Workstation, NT Server in the Enterprise, Windows 95/98. Manage DSN and WINS server. Setup, establish and administer global and local groups and accounts. Perform backups and maintain backup system.
