Daily Duties at Asian Pacific American Heritage Foundation:

*recruit donors/restaurants to participate in the event, displaying a buffet station at the event. *2011 help to recruit sponsorship for the event. *arrange, organize and manager the VIP press & sponsor reception at SF city hall. attended by SF city supervisors and the mayor. * *hire staff to manage onsite event at the gala. staff to help setup, bus and breakdown of the event. sort rental equipment and clean up *work with volunteer coordinator on pre event prep day and day of event and oversee 20+ volunteer at a time and assign them various event task, arrange volunteer meals, orientations, and training *coordinate donated food pickups and equipment rental pickups and deliveries *create and draft donor solicitation letters, form and fact sheet and benefit information for the client. *manage and work with event committee and board of director on the event. *develop event floorplan and make sure good traffic float *work with event venue manager to ensure all proper documentation are in place and obtain. *obtain fire and liquor permit for the event and work with fire dept marshall for onsite event walkthrough *help recruit wineries and beverage companies to pour at the event *create specialty bars to accommodate beverage donor's product promotions *arrange donor/restaurants receive their dance show tickets as a thank you for participation, event promotion listing on website, event program booklet and verbal mention of the donors. *attend regular meetings and update with staff and committee on the event weekly. *created and researched the donor database customized to their event. *maintain and building relationships with vendors, donors and volunteers through emails, thank you letters, vendor promotional activity
