Daily Duties at Ch2 M Hill:

At the time, St. Louis was one of CH2M Hill’s smallest locations. Hence, Flynn was exposed to all aspects of the consulting business, including: responding to RFQs and RFPs, planning, costing and writing proposals, and doing the actual project work. Once, she proposed a job, did pilot scale work in a client’s lab, solved their wastewater problem, and wrote the report with no other assistance. Managed huge permitting project for Army’s program to dispose of old chemical warfare weapons (WMD’s). Performed environmental audits for different industries, completed preliminary and secondary investigations on properties under consideration for purchase, marketed new business, and became part of the firm’s “ace” team of engineers who wrote, reviewed, and modified permits for the treatment, storage and disposal of hazardous waste.
