Daily Duties at Blair Distributors (A.K.A. Pathmark Stores Inc.):
1996 - 1998 - Payroll administration. Reported cases shipped/received, attendance, quality. Tracked and administrated disciplinary reports in all aspects of the business. Reviewed timecards on a daily basis and ensured associates were paid for their hours worked. Processed all W-2's, direct deposit requests, warehouse transfers, address changes, terminations. Reviewed State Disability Claims and Worker's Compensation claims and ensured associate compliance. Produced employment verification documentation as well as salary verification as requested. Distributed weekly checks and reconcilied if any discrepancies. Responsible for the Manager's checking account and maintained all records. Also responsible for the petty cash fund. Tracked all new hires productivity and attendance and produced the reports weekly for review by management for Union eligibility. Responsible for all Pathmark Gift Certificates for the North Brunswick facility which were issued to associates who made the Union and for any other "recognized" accomplishment for above and beyond.
