Coordinate clinics as assisgned; monitor patients for therapy side effects or protocol side effects; assist with patient schedules/appointments; wound/skin care, medication administration; report changes in patient status to physicians, physician assistants, nurse practioners, or residents; Implement care as per physician orders; document patient care in the medical record; Educate patients/families regarding their care/therapy in English or Spanish. Coordinate patient needs with social work, dieticians, patient advocates, case management, business centers, etc. Update nursing skills as required.
