Daily Duties at 5 D Systems, Inc. :
Senior Systems Engineer for the Airbus A400M Portable Multipurpose Access Terminal (PMAT) developed to download mission data and upload upgrades between the ground system and the aircraft avionics equipment. • Worked with hardware and software design teams to ensure customer objectives were clearly defined. • Reviewed system requirements for completeness and correctness. • Verified requirements allocation and traceability of system requirements to the software requirements. • Developed Test Cases and Test Procedures for the system requirements, conducted formal testing to verify the system requirements, and documented discrepancies found during testing using a defect tracking system. • Developed analysis reports to verify system requirements. • Familiar with DO-178B. • Proficient in DOORS requirements management tool. Senior Systems Engineer at the Joint Unmanned Aerial Systems (JUAS) Center Of Excellence (COE) at Creech AFB by reviewing and updating the Blue Knight 2010 Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) Test Report and C-UAS Concept of Operations (CONOPS) document. Responsible Engineer for the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Communications Network (GCN) Communications Node Equipment and Network System Manager (CNE/NSM). • Supported baseline management of the CNE/NSM configuration by developing and presenting engineering change packages to Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs). • Coordinated with other GMD component and CNE/NSM sub-contractor teams to schedule equipment and software upgrades. • Supported GCN Failure Review Boards (FRBs) as the CNE/NSM representative. • Coordinated with GMD field engineers, system test lab engineers and Quality Assurance (QA) in the resolution of CNE/NSM equipment non-conformance issues.
