Daily Duties at Vallen Safety Supply:
-Hire, train, and supervise a staff of 11 responsible for the receipt, storage and shipping of safety products in a 25,000 sq, ft hub location. -Plan and delegate work flow: coordinate activities for receiving and shipping. Direct outgoing shipments and ensure accuracy and warehouse safety and ergonomics. Effectively redesigned sections of warehouse to improve efficiencies. -Monitored team using a “Quality Management” system to maintain smooth and effecient work flow. -Conduct performance appraisals, providing feedback to consistently build team proficiency and dedication. -Organize and manage yearly inventory. -As Safety Coordinator; implement safety training for entire northeast affecting 35 employees. Review MSDS and oversee procedural compliance with OSHA standards.
