Daily Duties at North Beach Citizens:
*recruit donors to participate in the event by donating raw material goods *hire staff to manage onsite event planning *work with volunteer coordinator on pre event prep day and day of event and oversee 50+ volunteer at a time and assign them various event task, arrange volunteer meals, orientations, and training *coordinate donated food pickups and equipment rental pickups and deliveries *manage and work with event committee and board of director on the event. *conduct weekly meetings and event update with event committee *work with francis coppola's marketing and donation department on wine donation and invitation design, print and layout *working directly with francis coppola and his assistant on his spaghetti menu, his volunteer schedule in terms when to come to the venue to cook spaghetti and the event program timeline *manage sponsorship follow up and registration, gathering guest list, verifying sponsorship payment, guest seating layout. *develop floorplan layout and guest seating *oversee a sitdown dinner setup, bussing, dinner serving, clean and breakdown *working with dinner preparation chefs on dinner service, cooking the spaghetti dinner from scratch according to francis coppola's recipe. solicit food donation for francis recipe and work closely with francis and a chef in cooking the entire dinner from scratch. Menu: Assorted Breads, Antipasti, Classic Caesar Salad, Rigatoni with Meat Sauce, Grilled Italian Sausages, Eggplant Parmigiana, Assorted Desserts. *a two day cooking event with francis coppola 5 years consecutive event: start 1/2003 - 5/2003 - 1/2007 - 5/2007, every year for 5 months
