Daily Duties at Sunteck Transport:
• Managed domestic shippers to find reliable carriers that might otherwise be difficult to locate. • Found new business by cold calling and prospecting established IC’s around the U.S. • Negotiated and connected the needs of shipper with a carrier willing to transport the items at an acceptable price. • Coordinated with domestic shippers to find and monitor reliable carriers that might otherwise be difficult to locate. Assisted motor carriers in filling their trucks and earning money for transporting a wide variety of items. • Managed the order flow of all products and managed the customer delivery process • Developed a new system of tracking blacklisted carriers in order to create a more efficient flow of day-to-day business with approved IC’s. • Learned to manage the operations budget and all related fiscal forecasting and planning activities within our specified market • Identified and fixed inefficiencies that were hindering company performance in day-to-day processing. This included technical issues regarding IT technology.
