• Responsible for all aspects of Tandem (HP, Compaq) Systems Management. Migrated from K-Series to S-series Himalaya Non Stop Servers. • Upgrading operating system. • 24X7 On-call Support for 13 different systems. • Relocated Systems to/from different parts of the country. • All Aspects of security using Safeguard, Guardian, and CA Unicenter software • Played a role in application design and implementation • Application support using Spoolcom, Netbatch, Fup, SCF, Prognosis, and TACL • Spoolcom – Check logs, check for loops, check size of output, and print • Netbatch, check to see if job ran, its output location, enter/delete jobs • SCF, check disk drives, lan controllers, and other components • FUP, check data in files, create/delete files, check for file locks • Prognosis, check for bottle necks, extents left on disk, busiest jobs, files full • TACL, wrote TACL programs for operations, developers, and systems, to help in day to day operations • PATHWAY, add/drop server classes, check servers to see if running, check to see if more servers required, stop and start application
