Daily Duties at Memorial Health Systems:

• Responsible for all aspects of Tandem systems management. • Upgraded over 40 disk drives, installed 2 new CPU’s (F-8600’s). • In charge of disaster recovery. • Installed and redesigned new back-up and restore using new QTos software DSMSCM using DSMSCM installed latest DST release with appropriate IPMs • Helped in application design • Application support using Spoolcom, Netbatch, Fup, SCF, Prognosis, and TACL • Spoolcom – Check logs, check for loops, check size of output, and print • Netbatch, check to see if job ran, its output location, enter/delete jobs • SCF, check disk drives, lan controllers, and other components • FUP, check data in files, create/delete files, check for file locks • Prognosis, check for bottle necks, extents left on disk, busiest jobs, files full • TACL, wrote TACL programs for operations, developers, and systems, to help in day to day operations • PATHWAY, add/drop server classes, check servers to see if running, check to see if more servers required, stop and start application
