Handle and restrain animals by using appropriate techniques to allow for the care and research to be performed in a safe and humane manner. 5. Administer treatments, euthanize animals and provide assistance during special procedures under the direction of the veterinarians or VMU Supervisor. Collect samples and process diagnostic tests. 6. Perform routine and non-routine maintenance and ensure proper operation of equipment and machinery. Maintain records by collecting and recording data to facilitate management of the facility. 7. Receive and transport animals, supplies and/or equipment between VMU and affiliated institutions and vendors using appropriate methods via VA owned vehicle.）
