Daily Duties at Memorial Herman Hospital:

Responsible to the Vice President of Operations for management of 60 FTEs and an annual operating budget of $3.9M. Areas of responsibility included a 55-bed gynecology/antepartum/postpartum unit, a 34-bed well baby nursery, and an outpatient procedure center. Three Clinical Managers and two Social Workers reported to this position. Shared responsibility for managing the Service Line Educator. The unit served primarily a low socio-economic Medicaid or HMO population.
