Daily Duties at Aventura Inc., Mountain Management Consulting, Llc:

• Identify niche markets undergoing rapid growth due to new and significant business growth in the area. • Developed the business model and pro-formas for our hotel and storage facility plans and used the completed business plans to meet with City Councils, and investors to gain project approval and to raise the needed capital for the projects. • Negotiated all contracts and working with architects and engineers we qualified our Hotel Designs for LEED Certification. The Fort Riley hotel would have been the only LEED/Energy Star certified hotel in Kansas. • Part of my responsibilities included presenting our plans to City Councils and Planning Commissions, and to negotiate terms for project approval. • Responsible for the ultimate design of the hotel and coordinating requirements between the franchise, our architects, engineers, and contractors. • Identify potential partners/investors and raise 20% - 30% of the cash needed for construction while working with a broker to facilitate construction, post construction reserves, and operating funds. • Meet with School Superintendents in the communities we targeted for projects to present our committed plan to donate 10% of pre tax income to after school programs. We established a separate entity Mountain Management Consulting to help the school district and community to implement the approved plans. Our proposed funding was targeted for specific approved student service learning projects targeting initiatives in: o Wellness, o Project or standards based learning, o Dual-immersion programs, or o Environmental programs All projects would need to be coordinated with the community, school, local businesses, or Habitat for Humanity as a way to integrate student project learning with school and community needs, and to teach students and the community how to be better stewards of their energy, water and resource needs.
