Daily Duties at Honda:
Inspection & Adjust / D zone Associate Feb 2009 -Present Inspects and adjust CBU bodies for Fit & Finish. Feedback quality concerns for all departments. Production of Door, Hood, Tailgate Comps. • Improved tooling for associate use, tested prototype, and completed procedures to have the tool stocked for daily use saving the area approximately $6000 per year. Robot Operator June 2006-Feb 2009 Maintained zone efficiency and stabilization including achievement of daily production goals. Performed robot crash recovery and failure prevention. Completed pre-shift quality and equipment checks and preventative maintenance. • Performed New Model and Production teaching and modifications to accomplish objectives in accordance with outlined priorities. • Assisted in robot cycle up projects to reduce cycle time by 10%. New Model Project Team Member Feb 2005-June 2006 Prepared all documentation such as design changes and operation standards for 2007 CRV launch. Facilitated associate training and assisted in process analysis and design. Handled Jig Spec and Design/Development. Reviewed project status reports during each operational phase. Delegated responsibilities and designed time schedules. Prepared project status reports for management. • Supervised new equipment design and installation for tailgate process ergonomic improvement. • Involved in equipment modifications to accommodate a four model-mix throughout the Weld department.
